Statement of Faith

 

At Shibero’s Cob Homestead, our hospitality is an extension of our faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that one of the commands from Our Heavenly Father is rest. He tells us to be still and truly know that He is the LORD our GOD.

Our Core Beliefs

​

  • The Word of God: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, serving as our final rule for faith and living.

  • The Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • The Saviour: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and His personal return in power and glory.

  • Salvation: We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ.

  • The Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and is empowered for ministry.

  • Unity in the Body: We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, transcending denominations and cultures.

  • The Great Commission: We believe in the mandate to go into all the world and make disciples, which is why we have dedicated this homestead to those serving in the mission field.
