Ubuntu means “I am because we are” — the African belief that healing happens in connection - mainly in our churches, families and the wider community just as you did when you got married. Not in isolation. Africans are a community people.

I bring this philosophy into my work as a licensed psychotherapist, family mediator, and women’s wellness advocate with 20+ years of experience.

I focus on women because they often carry the heaviest burdens during separation and divorce, yet receive the least support, especially in a partriachical society.

My role is to walk with you through this life transition (and as women we have many) — helping you heal emotionally, rebuild your identity, and create a hopeful future — all while connecting you to the strength of faith, community and family support.

Beacuse thats my story - as a black African woman living in a partriachical soociety. Women face unique emotional, cultural, and societal challenges during separation and divorce — from stigma and judgment to financial vulnerability - often leaving them living on the line of poverty. We need a lot of help, but there's hardly any help for women, especially in this season.

So my women-focused space ensures women get guidance tailored to your reality and the support you need without fear of criticism.

Therapy focuses on healing past wounds and processing emotions. Coaching is more future-focused and action-oriented. My approach blends both — helping you heal while also giving you practical tools and strategies to rebuild your life.

No. While my own faith in Jesus shapes my compassion and values, I welcome women from all beliefs and backgrounds into a safe and respectful space.
